The Dealer’s Side of the Desk — On Your Side of the Deal.
I’ve spent 6+ years on the dealer side in high-ticket sales and F&I. I’ve seen every move, every pressure tactic, every line of paperwork you’ll see. This advisory service puts that knowledge to work for you — not the dealer.
I don’t negotiate for you. I don’t show up at the dealership. I read your deal, flag what matters, coach you on what to say — and you execute.
What you actually get.
Two tiers. Clear deliverables. No bullshit.
I coach, you execute.
You get a written analysis plus a live call. You keep control of the deal. I never call the dealer, never attend delivery, never sign anything.
I’m not your lawyer.
I’m not an attorney, not a financial advisor, not your agent. This is informational consulting — industry insider context so you can make a better decision.
Flat fee. No commission.
I don’t take a cut from lenders, dealers, warranty providers, or anyone else in the transaction. My incentive is you tell a friend I was worth it.
Editorial wall in place.
I hold a W-2 at a Georgia RV dealership. It’s fully separated from this service. If your buying search overlaps my employer, I refund and refer — no exceptions.

Editorial Wall Policy
I currently hold a W-2 position at a Georgia RV dealership. That employment is fully separated from this advisory service. I will never reference my employer, involve them in your engagement, or share any information from our work with them — period. If your buying search overlaps my employer (an RV dealership in Georgia), you must tell me at intake. I’ll verify the specific dealership on our scope call, and if it matches my employer I will refund you immediately and refer you to another resource. No exceptions. The firewall protects you, me, and both businesses.
What this ISN’T
- Not legal advice. I’m not an attorney. If you need legal help, I’ll point you to one.
- Not financial advice. I’m not a fiduciary. I don’t get paid by lenders or product providers.
- Not representation. I don’t call the dealer, don’t attend deliveries, don’t sign anything. You execute — I coach.
- Not a guarantee. Every deal is different. I give you honest context. Outcomes are yours.
- Not a dealer referral service. I will never send you to a specific dealer, including my W-2 employer.
Frequently asked.
How does Tier 2 actually work?
You fill out the intake form. I review it and reply personally within one business day — usually with a short summary of how I read your situation and next steps. You e-sign the engagement contract and pay. You upload your deal documents to a secure link I send. We have a 30-minute scope call so I understand the full picture. I spend ~2 hours reading your documents and writing a full analysis. I send that analysis to you, then we have a 60-minute strategy call to walk through it — including specific negotiation language you can use. You get two follow-up emails in the 14 days after that call for clarification. Total elapsed time, start to finish, usually 7–10 days depending on how fast we schedule.
Is $999 expensive?
For one hour of pure conversation, yes. For a full document review plus a strategy session plus written coaching on a transaction that’s usually $20k–$150k+, no — that’s a fraction of one percent. The typical Tier 2 client saves multiples of the fee on line items they didn’t know were negotiable. But I don’t guarantee that — every deal is different. If you think the price isn’t right for your situation, Tier 1 at $299 might be a better fit, or start there and upgrade if you want the deeper review.
What’s the refund policy?
Tier 1: Full refund if you cancel more than 24 hours before your call. 50% inside 24 hours. No refund once the call starts. If the call is cut short on my side, we reschedule at no cost.
Tier 2: Full refund before you submit documents. 50% after documents received but before the first review call. No refund once the review call starts.
Unconditional clause: if you feel I haven’t delivered the value I promised, email me within 30 days and we’ll figure it out. I’d rather refund you than have an unhappy client.
What do I need to have ready before the call?
For Tier 1: the vehicle you’re looking at, any quote you’ve received, your decision timeline. That’s it.
For Tier 2: all the paperwork from the dealer — buyer’s order, financing offer (RIC), extended warranty paperwork, GAP paperwork, trade-in valuation, and the window sticker or invoice if you have it. You’ll upload these to a secure link I send.
Do you work with people outside Georgia?
Yes — advisory is available to consumers in all 50 states. State-specific laws vary, so when something depends on your state (lemon law thresholds, doc fee caps, cooling-off periods), I’ll say so and point you to your state’s consumer protection resources or suggest you consult a licensed attorney in your state for specifics.
Can you look at a deal I already signed?
Yes, with the caveat that what you can do after signing is usually narrower than before. I’ll still give you an honest read on what happened, what was fair, what wasn’t, and whether anything looks actionable. That said — the highest-leverage time for this is before you sign.
Do you take a referral fee from anyone?
No. Not from dealers, lenders, warranty providers, insurance companies, or anyone else in the transaction. My only income from the advisory service is the flat fee you pay me. That’s the whole point of “No Sponsors. No Filter.”
Who I am
I’m Manny Ruiz — founder of Real Talk Media Group LLC, which publishes RV Real Talk and Car Real Talk. Military background. Started in automotive retail in 2019 and have spent the last several years in dealer-side high-ticket sales and F&I.
I built Real Talk because the content out there about buying a car or RV is either dealer-sponsored advertorial or terrified-consumer fear-mongering. Neither is useful. The truth is somewhere in the middle — dealers aren’t evil, but the system has asymmetric information and the average buyer is outgunned. I’m trying to even the odds.
This advisory service is the direct version of what I write about. If you want the DIY playbook, read the site and grab the free PDF. If you want me to look at your specific deal and tell you what I see, that’s what this is.
